Shoulder bruising: Shoulder bruising is going to happen usually
from moves like windmills or coindrops, the most major bruising
actually leads to an actual cut or scrape on your shoulder usally
from continuing on your shoulder, if this occurs than more than
likely everytime you are on your shoulder your cut will open up
and cause bleeding which is the worst when wearing your
favorite spin shirt or light colored T-shirt.

How to prevent it: Well to be really honest with you there isn't
really a prevention for shoulder bruising, it's going to happen and
usually when you first start out, this mainly happens because
your body is just getting used to doing certain moves and you
probably don't have the best form developed yet so alot of your
impact is all on your shoulder instead of just rolling upon it, but
don't worry because it is natural and part of your
development...more than likely you will also eventually get a
calous or scar on the top corner of your shoulder...welcome to
the club you've got windmillers tatoo.

How to Heal: The bruising can be healed by simply taking time
off the move but if your reading this your probably like myself and
want to continue practicing so my advice is ice. Ice will cool the
swelling.but not heal the injury unless you continually ice after
every session. If you have cut your shoulder from doing this than
let me give you advice...I have tried almost every bandage in the
world and all but this one always tore off as soon as I hit light
speed on my windmills...it's called a sports bandage and it has
four points of contact on the bandage and looks like a square
cloth fiber bandage with four extensions from each corner. Put
this on along with some Neosporin antibacteria cream and just
leave it on for about 3-5 days then take it off let your scar air out
for about 2 hours then repeat.... it should heal by the second or
third application... I want to warn that although this is a great
bandage it will sommetimes still allow a little blood to seep thru
the fibers and onto your clothes or show gear but at least your
healing.
